GRANTS AVAILABLE TO INSTALL RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS ON CABINS AND HOMES

Cabin owners can apply to the Department of Environment’s Climate Change Secretariat for a one-time grant of up to $5,000 to install solar or wind power systems. climatechangenunavut.ca

Homeowners located within municipal boundaries in Nunavut can apply to the Nunavut Housing Corporation for a one-time grant of half the cost, to a maximum of $30,000, towards a solar energy system. www.nunavuthousing.ca.
